My son was critically injured in Afghanistan November, 2009. I took a medical leave of absence from my job to be with my son as he recovered and went through rehabilitation. During my son’s rehabilitation stay at McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, VA, I met Bill Haneke. He is on the Board of Directors for FOTWF. This is truly a caring and compassionate charity. Mr. Haneke truly cares for the wounded warriors and their families. The financial support was greatly appreciated; it helped with a lot of our expenses and allowed me to be with my son during his long recovery.
